Summary:
Meet and greet clients and their pets.
Coordinate and represent all facets of client services.
To serve as a good will ambassador for the hospital.

Education and
Experience:
? High School Diploma.
? Must have experience working with the public, i.
e.
restaurant, retail or service business.
? Experience in a veterinary hospital or other doctor's office is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Greet clients - greet both owner and pet by name, using appropriate gender for pet(s).
Prepares check-in and inventory sheet for each appointment or service.
Informs appropriate technician of client arrival and puts check-in information in appropriate file.
Directs client into exam room if necessary, on occasion may need to weigh a pet.
Prepares invoices.
Collects and processes payments.
Types medical histories.
Answers phone.
Answers client questions when possible.
Sells Warren County dog licenses, completes necessary paperwork.
Schedules appointments.
Balances end of day by county money received, reconciling credit card payments, totaling checks.
Admits surgery and day patients.
Records accurate concise messages and phone numbers Conducts follow up communications with clients as directed by a doctor.
Records information, such as updates from clients and informs the appropriate doctor.
Confirms appointments by phone.
Prepares copies, out-going mail, and faxes as needed.
Provides clients with information, such as names of groomers, kennels, trainers, pet sitters, etc.
Files client paperwork.
Communicates with technicians when requesting prescription refills.
Maintains a clean and inviting environment in the waiting room.
Performs housekeeping activities as needed - sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning glass doors, stocking food, etc.
Performs additional actives as directed.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
